Huntriage
Overview
Huntriage runs in your browser. It builds and checks Microsoft Defender XDR queries on your device. It does not connect to your Defender tenant, and IMPLEMON LLC does not operate a server that receives or stores your investigations.
Investigation data
Clues you paste, the questions you choose, generated and edited queries, validation results and investigation provenance are processed locally in your browser. They are not sent to IMPLEMON.
Analyst Memory
Items you choose to remember, their notes, context and observation history are stored in your browser (IndexedDB) on this device. They are not synced or sent to IMPLEMON. Clearing your browser's site data for implemon.com removes them. Exported memory files are saved wherever you choose and are yours; they never contain license information.
Huntriage Pro license verification
Huntriage processes investigation data and Analyst Memory locally in your browser. Pro activation sends only the information required to validate your Lemon Squeezy license. Investigation inputs, KQL, remembered artifacts, analyst notes, and investigation history are not sent to IMPLEMON or Lemon Squeezy for licensing.
When you activate, Huntriage sends your license key and a random installation ID created on your device to IMPLEMON's license service at implemon.com. The service checks the key with Lemon Squeezy, sending the key, an activation name made from the first eight characters of the installation ID, and the activation reference. When Huntriage refreshes or deactivates, it sends a signed entitlement and the installation ID instead of the key.
For licensing we keep: the Lemon Squeezy license and activation references, a one-way digest of your key for lookup, the key itself encrypted (so the service can re-check and release your activation with Lemon Squeezy), its last four characters, the product and order references, the license status, and when each installation was last verified. We do not keep your name or email from Lemon Squeezy. There are no accounts, and Huntriage does not use device or browser fingerprinting.
Payments
Payments for Huntriage Pro are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which handles checkout, payment details, receipts and your license key under its own privacy policy. IMPLEMON does not receive your card details. Lemon Squeezy tells our license service when a license changes or an order is refunded, so the service can stop renewing Pro for a refunded license.
