Quick answers for movement sessions, Pieces, soundtracks, Artwork and the MOTEOSIS Universe.
How do I start?
Open MOTEOSIS and tap the living MOVE form. You do not need to choose a workout type or set a duration first. Move however you want, then choose Done when the session is finished.
Do I have to follow a workout?
No. MOTEOSIS is intentionally open-ended. A session can be exercise, stretching, dance, improvisation, slow movement, or something you do not want to name.
What is a Piece?
A Piece is the settled material left by a completed movement session. Pieces collect in Materials, where you can revisit them and see the date they were created. They are not scores or rarity rewards.
What is Materials?
Materials is your personal Piece history. You can browse the full collection or group it by month. A Piece can also show whether it has been used in Artwork or contributed to a Universe where that status is available.
How does music work?
MOTEOSIS includes its own soundtracks and can keep downloaded MOTEOSIS tracks available locally. You can also import compatible personal audio files. If Apple Music is available on your account and device, its availability and playback depend on Apple permissions and your Apple Music access.
Can I move without music?
Yes. Music is optional. Touch and device motion can still affect the living material during a session.
What is MOTEOSIS Universe?
The Universe is a shared monthly world built from individual Pieces. Each day, one eligible Piece from that day’s movement can enter the current World. You can pan and zoom, place your Piece, and return later to see how the World has changed.
Why can I place only one Piece per day?
The limit keeps the shared World legible and makes each placement a contribution rather than a feed. It is not a streak or goal. Missing a day has no penalty.
How do I find my Piece in the Universe?
Use My Pieces inside the Universe. Your contributions can be highlighted, and choosing one brings the view back to its location.
What happens when the month ends?
The finished World becomes read-only and moves into Universe Archive. A new monthly World begins. Archived Worlds can be revisited where the current build supports exploration and sharing.
How do I make Artwork?
Open Gallery or the Artwork flow, choose Pieces from Materials, then arrange them into a composition. Your personal Artwork is not automatically published to the Universe.
Can I share what I see?
Where Share is available in the Universe, the current framed view can be captured for the standard iOS Share Sheet. Personal Artwork can also be exported as an image from Gallery.
Does MOTEOSIS work offline?
Your local movement history, saved Pieces and already-available local audio can continue without a network connection. Shared Universe updates and new remote music downloads require network access.
A downloaded soundtrack will not play. What should I try?
Try removing the downloaded copy from the Soundtracks storage controls and downloading it again when you are online. If the problem continues, include the track title and your iOS version when contacting support.
